All Shine Mate machines come with a spare pair of brushes, however after a while its necessary to get another pair as the machine gets used more. Carbon Brushes are a wear and tear item, like brake pads on a vehicle. After enough use, these will have to be changed.

Common indicators that its time to change your brushes are noticeably more sparks inside the machine and can be slightly noisier. The machine can also cut in and out of power.
