Australia Post Delays

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 situation in Australia, Australia Post have been experiencing huge delays due to social distancing policies and the massive increase in online retail. Australia Post have been seeing volumes equivalent to Christmas time during the middle of the year and as a result have not been able to recover causing large delays with Regular and Express Post.

Parcels shipped from Waxit are seeing delays of up to 5-20 days depending on location for Regular postage, and sometimes 3-7 days for Express postage. 

As of Friday the 1st of October 2021, Australia Post will be halting pickups for 5 days in an attempt to try and regain some control over pickups and deliveries that their system has been flooded with over the last 2 months. During this time Regular postage orders through Waxit will be delayed until these pickups resume. We will still process these orders however they will not be picked up until AusPost resume pickups on Wednesday the 6th of October 2021. 
Express Orders will still be picked up during this time
, and we recommend ordering with Express Post going forward to avoid large delays with Australia Post if you are wanting your products sooner. 

If you are ordering before this temporary hold, the order cutoff will be 12:30pm Thursday the 30th of September. Order's made after this time we be held until the Wednesday, unless they are Express Post.

During these tough times, Auspost investigations won't be able to be opened up until 15 business days have passed to allow for these possible delays on your orders. If you're needing parcels
