Koch Chemie Ceramic Body Cb0.01 isn’t just another ceramic coating, it’s a true surface enhancement system, combining gloss, protection, and hydrophobic performance into one advanced layer.
Cb0.01 is Koch Chemie’s flagship ceramic coating, engineered to chemically bond with paintwork for a long-lasting, high-gloss barrier that performs under pressure. Whether you’re protecting a daily driver, weekend car, bike, or boat, Cb0.01 locks in slickness and clarity while shielding from harsh elements like UV rays, bird droppings, bug guts and fallout.
Once flashed, the ceramic layer hardens into a dense, hydrophobic shell. That means water, dirt and contaminants struggle to stick, and washing becomes faster, safer, and less abrasive. It also enhances optical depth, giving your paint a deep, candy-gloss finish that looks better for longer.
Features:
-
High Gloss Finish: Elevates paintwork with enhanced depth and reflectivity.
- Strong Surface Bonding: Adheres to all paint types through chemical flashing for long-term durability.
- Hydrophobic Performance: Advanced water repellency and roll-off properties for easier maintenance.
- Environmental Protection: Guards against UV, acid rain, bird droppings, bug splatter, and more.
- Single or Dual Layer Options: Up to 24 months durability with a single layer, 26–30 months when layered.
Directions:
- Read all safety instructions prior to use. Wear suitable PPE.
- Thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle. Perform any necessary paint correction.
- Wipe all panels with a panel wipe or IPA-based surface prep. Use a clean towel to dry.
- Wrap the application towel over the foam block.
- Apply Cb0.01 generously to the towel, and coat in 30x30cm sections using a crosshatch pattern.
- Allow the coating to flash (around 6 minutes @ 20°C, 43% humidity).
- Gently remove excess with one towel, then level and buff with a second clean towel.
- Inspect each panel under light for high spots before moving on.
- For a second layer, wait approximately 45 minutes before reapplying.
Aftercare & Maintenance:
- The coating becomes weatherproof after 24 hours; full cure takes 9 days.
-
Avoid washing the vehicle until day 9 post-application.
- Within 24 hours, protect with Koch Chemie S0.02 or Hand Wax 0.01 to help during cure phase.
- Avoid acidic or overly alkaline cleaners (below pH 3 or above pH 12).
- Wash regularly with pH-neutral soap like Koch Chemie GSF.
- Perform periodic deep cleans (every 3–6 months) with Reactivation Shampoo.
- Top up protection as needed with wax or spray sealants.
Note: Proper aftercare ensures your coating performs as intended, delivering lasting gloss, protection and water behaviour that holds up through real-world conditions.
