Spray Wax

A spray wax will typically last between 2-6 weeks, depending on several factors such as quality of the product, application method, environmental conditions, frequency of washing and the car’s storage.
You sure can! It’s a quick and easy way to maintain your car’s shine and protect against dirt, UV rays and other contaminants that can damage your cars paint.
Applying a spray wax over a ceramic coating can enhance shine and add a sacrificial layer to the paint for extra protection. It may not last as long as the ceramic coating but when re-applied after a maintenance wash this is the best way to ensure the ceramic coating lasts for as long as possible!

We always recommend reading the label on the product as most brands will include a step-by-step instruction list to follow but as a guideline we recommend these steps when applying a spray wax:
1. Wash and dry the car.
2. Shake the spray wax bottle.
3. Spray a small amount onto a cool, dry surface of the panel that you’re working on.
4. Use a clean microfiber cloth to spread and buff the wax in a circular motion.
5. Allow it to haze, then buff off any residue with a clean cloth.
6. Use a detailing light to ensure any high spots or marks have been buffed out.
7. Repeat process on remaining panels.
If you want to give the spray wax the best possible surface to adhere to then yes, we recommend cleaning and drying the surface before applying a spray wax to achieve best results.
