What are Car Blowers?

In much the same way we have all used car chamois and microfibre towels to dry our vehicles after washing them, car blowers blow air to dry car paint and trims after washing them.  Some car blowers can additionally be used as vacuum cleaners, which makes them an extremely handy, versatile piece of equipment.

Why are car dryers important?

When using other methods to dry your vehicle (such as using drying towels), there is always a risk of causing swirls or scratches in the paint.  This occurs if there are leftover bits of dust or dirt on the paint during the drying process, which if rubbed against the paint by a towel, can cause damage.  Using a car blower dryer is a touchless process, making it the safest way to dry your vehicle.

There are often also intricate areas on your vehicle's exterior that are hard to reach in the drying process when using a drying towel that car blowers are able to easily reach.  This prevents water streaks in the finish of your paintwork.

Benefits of car blowers:

  • Completely touchless drying process to prevent scratching car paint
  • Much faster drying process
  • Effective at removing dust and looser dirt from car exteriors and interiors
  • Some blowers can be used as a vacuum cleaner too, providing added versatility
  • Prevent water streaks in the finish of your paint
  • It is the safest way to dry your vehicle

How to use car blower:

  1. Turn on your car blower
  2. Be cautious, ensuring no water gets near electrical components
  3. Hover the blower nozzle over the surface of your vehicle's paint
  4. Blow over the water on exterior surfaces with the compressed air to dry

Tips:

  • Most effective results will be seen if the vehicle has good hydrophobic water behavior
  • For the best, streak-free results, wipe down any leftover water spots with a drying towel after finishing
