Pressure Washer Upgrade Kits

Four things, and each one fixes a specific annoyance. A short gun, because the metre long plastic gun that comes with a domestic pressure washer is awkward around mirrors, wheels and door jambs. An anti kink hose, because the stock hose twists, loops and drags across the paint. A set of quick connect nozzles with the orifice matched to your machine's flow, because the stock ones are sized for driveways and either drop the pressure or blast the paint. And the adaptor that connects all of it to your particular brand of machine, which is the bit people usually get wrong when they try to piece it together themselves.

Once it's on, every accessory we sell, foam cannons, lances, wheel nozzles, clips straight onto the same quick connect.

The kits are built by brand, so pick the one that matches your machine. Karcher has two, because the K series and the HD series use different outlets. Gerni, Stihl and Nilfisk share a fitting, so they're one kit. Ryobi and Ozito share another. Annovi Reverberi machines have their own kit, though most AR washers we sell already come with the upgrades fitted. The difference between the kits is just the adaptor, the gun, hose and nozzles are the same MTM and Aquatouch parts in each.

Not sure which series your Karcher is? The K series (K2, K4, K5, K7) has a plastic bayonet outlet, the HD has a threaded brass one. If your machine isn't one of these brands, our fittings and adaptors collection covers Bosch, Kranzle, M22 and most of the rest, and you can build the same kit from parts.

More than people expect for the money. The short gun is the one you notice first, it's half the length and weight, it swivels, and after one wash you won't go back. The nozzles are the one that matters most for the car. A stock domestic nozzle is usually too small for the machine's flow, which pushes the pressure up and the water volume down, the opposite of what you want for rinsing a car. A correctly sized quick connect nozzle gives you more water at a safer pressure, so the wash is faster and the paint is happier.

The hose stops the kinking and the dragging, and the quick connect means a foam cannon goes on and off in a second instead of a thread and a leak. Nothing in the kit changes the machine's output, it just lets the machine do what it was capable of.

Then skip the kit and look at the pressure washers we sell with the upgrades already on. That's the better route if your current machine is low flow, old or on its way out. An upgrade kit makes a good machine nicer to use, it doesn't make a weak one strong.
