CARPRO PolyShave MF Clay Cloth

The CARPRO PolyShave MF Decontamination Cloth is a faster, reusable alternative to clay bars. Built for efficient, safe paint and glass decontamination.

The CARPRO PolyShave MF Decontamination Cloth offers a smart upgrade from traditional clay bars, combining a microfiber towel backing with an advanced rubber polymer face to remove bonded surface contaminants faster and with less effort. It’s ideal for both enthusiasts and pros looking to speed up their clay bar car routine while still delivering a smooth, contaminant-free finish.

Unlike regular clay bars, this towel doesn’t become useless if dropped just rinse it off and keep going. It’s more durable, easier to handle, and quicker across large panels, making it perfect for frequent use on multiple vehicles. It easily lifts embedded grime like road tar, overspray, water spots, tree sap and rail dust, and leaves behind a clean, smooth surface ready for polishing or protection.

Designed for use with a quality clay bar lubricant, the PolyShave Cloth glides effortlessly and helps reduce marring and hand fatigue. It can be used on paint, glass and other smooth exterior surfaces. Just make sure to break it in on glass before your first use on paint, as this conditions the towel for safe detailing work.

      Good option

This is a decent option for novices that don't have the skill, time, or patience to use real Clay bar.

      Opinions from a weekend warrior

I'd give 3 1/2 stars ( so only fair to round it up to 4).

The PS Cloth does work as intended but for me personally won't be replacing a traditional clay bar.

I used this product with Carpro Clay lube so I can only assume as the manufacturer intended, to get the best results. I found for a light Decon this worked well but for more stubborn defects I felt that I had to work harder than I'd like. I might try it with a different clay lube to see if the results vary otherwise this might be relegated to quick touch ups rather than full car preps.

For full disclosure my car is in the elements 24/7 and is coming up on 15 years old and my cleaning routine has definitely improved and advanced over that time so some of the stubborn bits of Decon may have been there for years.

      Such a good clay tool.

Such a good clay tool. I have clay barys, clay towels, clay mitts, clay pads…. But this the best best so far because it is gentle enough to used after a wash for a quick clean, without marring.

The other still have their place, but if you just want to soften up the touch of your pain and give it that smoothness without polishing… give this a whirl.

I used this wiring plenty of clay cline and gave it a rinse every few panels…

Easy to use and a little less abrasive than some clay bars. Recommend letting it dry naturally and storing in a separate container after use.
