The CARPRO Velvet Orange Peel Cutting Pad – 3000 grit – gives you serious orange peel correction without touching sandpaper. Built for rotary users chasing clarity, not haze.
This CARPRO pad was made to flatten textures fast. Whether you're correcting factory orange peel or chasing out deeper defects, the Velvet Cutting Pad removes material with the bite of 3000 grit paper - minus the sanding haze and paint dulling that comes with it.
Unlike traditional sanding, the Velvet pad keeps your correction process fully mechanical - meaning less mess, fewer follow-up steps, and more consistent results. The specialised fiber construction levels high spots in the clear coat while maintaining a workable finish that’s far easier to refine than standard sanding marks.
Rotary machines unlock its full potential, but it can also be used carefully on other polishers. Just go light on pressure, monitor panel temps, and treat this pad with the same respect you'd give any cutting tool.
