Shine Supply Trim Paint

A true plastic trim restorer that permanently revives faded trim using a dedicated water based trim paint, not a temporary dressing.

Shine Supply Trim Paint is built for trim that is beyond saving with standard gels and dressings. This is not a wipe on gloss enhancer. It is a water based trim paint designed specifically to bond with automotive plastics and restore colour properly.

When applied, Trim Paint penetrates into the oxidised top layer of dead plastic and rebuilds the finish. Instead of masking fading, it restores a rich, even black or grey tone that looks intentional and uniform. Once cured, you are left with a durable, refreshed surface that holds up far better than traditional plastic trim restorer products.

Available in both black and grey, this is ideal for heavily faded bumpers, mirror surrounds, flares and exterior mouldings that have gone patchy or chalky. If you have tried every car plastic restorer on the shelf and nothing has lasted, this is the next level solution.

Durability: approximately 90 to 120 days with proper maintenance.

Features:

  • True Trim Paint Technology: A water based trim paint designed to bond with exterior plastic rather than sit on top like a dressing.
  • Heavy Restoration Capability: Ideal for severely faded or oxidised black and grey trim.
  • Durable Finish: Lasts significantly longer than standard black or grey plastic trim restorer products.
  • Available in Black and Grey: Match the original trim colour for a natural, factory style finish.
  • Compatible with Maintenance Products: Can be maintained with Shine Supply Trim Shine or Trim Shield.

Directions:

For best results, apply to clean, cool trim out of direct sunlight.

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. Wear gloves as the product will stain.
  3. Thoroughly clean and decontaminate the trim using a suitable surface prep such as a paint cleanser or panel wipe.
  4. Apply a generous amount of Trim Paint to a microfibre or foam applicator.
  5. Make one smooth pass over the surface, similar to applying paint to a wall.
  6. Do not rub aggressively or use circular motions.
  7. Allow the first coat to dry to the touch, usually within a few minutes.
  8. Apply a second coat using the same method if required.

Trim Shine or Trim Shield can be applied after curing for ongoing maintenance.

Do not apply in direct sunlight.

Very difficult and messy to apply. Leaves streaks. Hard to get an even finish. Not worth the high price. Terrible product. I would not buy again nor recommend this to anyone
