Collinite 476 Paste Wax is a no-nonsense car wax built for longevity. It gives you the rich finish of a traditional paste with the staying power of a sealant.
If you're chasing long-term protection from a hand-applied wax, this is one of the most trusted options in the game. Collinite 476 combines the visual depth of carnauba with the durability of a synthetic, offering a car wax and polish hybrid performance that holds up for months, not weeks.
The formula is old school in the best way. Thick, dense, and built to last. It doesn't just shine, it shields. Rain, salt, road film and UV are all kept at bay by a single layer of Collinite 476. It’s particularly popular in colder climates for winter protection, but just as effective in harsh sun or rain.
This is a car wax that rewards good prep. Lay it down thin and even, and you’ll be left with a slick, glossy surface that beads water beautifully and resists contamination. Whether you're protecting a classic, a daily driver or a weekend weapon, 476 keeps the finish locked in with very little fuss.
It’s also incredibly efficient. A little goes a long way. With no built-in cleaners, you can layer it up if you want extra bite without stripping previous coats.

- Use a putty knife or finger to apply a small amount of wax to the pad
- Spread a thin, even coat across one panel at speed 1 on a random orbital
- Buff off with a microfiber towel before the wax dries fully
By Hand:
- Use a slightly damp foam or microfiber applicator
- Apply a thin layer panel-by-panel
