The Lake Country CCS Orange Light Cutting Flat Foam Pad blends cutting precision with extended work time - built for dual action (DA) polishers.
The Lake Country CCS Orange Pad is a versatile light cutting pad designed to remove mild defects while delivering excellent finishing potential. Its CCS (Collapsed Cell Structure) surface is covered in closed-cell pockets that prevent polish from over-absorbing into the foam. This keeps more compound on the surface - extending your working time and improving product efficiency.
Built to handle the lateral forces of dual action polishers, this foam cutting pad includes stronger glue, full-face Velcro, and a thin, tapered design with an exact-fit backing for better pad control and longevity. It’s well-suited for correcting swirls, minor oxidation, or water spotting on all modern paint systems, including scratch-resistant clear coats.

This pad has been my workhorse for over a decade now and never fails to surprise me the level of defects it can remove without needing to crack out the MF or wool.
The orange pads give a reliable level of cut and finish and last forever if you take care of them (I am still using some of my original purchase stack!).
They are also super versatile, I use them with all my polishers, short throw, long throw and rotary (I've even cut up an old one when the backing finally delaminated to make a useful hand polishing pad) with great results.
