Koch Chemie SCF is your fix when ceramic-coated cars end up with the one thing they shouldn’t: water spots and mineral stains that don’t rinse away.
SCF (Spotless Ceramic Finish) by Koch Chemie is built to target and remove bonded mineral deposits, water stains and limescale without compromising your ceramic coating underneath. It’s ideal for use on modern SiO₂-based coatings, working chemically to dissolve stubborn contamination that causes dull patches or rainbow-like rings, especially after hard water contact or baking sun.
Unlike more aggressive acid-based water spot & limescale removers, SCF is balanced to safely clean sensitive finishes without causing streaks, dullness or reintroducing swirls. It restores a crisp, clean look and preps your surface for top-ups or reapplication of protection if needed.
Whether you’re chasing clarity after a bad rinse, or performing spot-cleaning before a final detail, SCF makes water-spot removal quick, consistent and safe, even on delicate ceramic layers. For regular maintenance washes on coated cars, pair it with Koch Chemie Reactivation Shampoo.
Features:
- Removes Water Spots & Mineral Staining: Dissolves calcium, limescale and hard water residue from ceramic-coated paintwork.
- Coating-Safe Chemistry: Designed for modern ceramic-coated surfaces — no gloss stripping, no damage.
- Streak-Free Result: Leaves paint clean, smooth and ready for re-protection.
- Easy Application: No complicated prep. Spray onto a microfiber cloth, wipe on and buff off.
Directions:
- Shake before use. Always work out of direct sunlight on a cool, clean and dry panel.
- Spray SCF onto a clean microfiber cloth rather than directly onto the paint.
- Wipe it evenly over the affected area.
- Depending on the level of staining, leave it to dwell for up to 3 minutes.
- Buff off with a clean microfiber towel, then give a final wipe with a fresh, dry towel if needed.
- Repeat on stubborn spots if needed, then follow up with a topper or sealant if required.
Avoid letting SCF dry on the panel. Test in an inconspicuous area before full application if unsure of surface compatibility.
