The 3-layer construction of these sanding pads allows for a uniform, premium finish to remove paint defects and refine automotive finishes.
The layers consist of:
- Cloth abrasive layer
- Foam interface cushioning
- siafast Velcro fastening system
This gives you a long lasting, low scratch depth pad, which minimises the random deeper scratches often found when using lower quality pads.
This makes buffing out the sanding marks much easier. The foam interface layer also gives you a layer of protection, as opposed to thin paper discs.
This system is best used for damp sanding, and this pad will work perfectly on a 3" DA backing pad. We recommend lightly moistening the pad prior to and during use.
