Professional grade 150mm sanding pads that are Velcro backed and manufactured in Switzerland for premium results.
The SIA siaair sanding pads are premium and versatile sanding discs that are known in the industry for their unrivalled quality and multi-layer construction.
The 3-layer construction of these sanding pads allows for a uniform, premium finish to remove paint defects and refine automotive finishes.
The layers consist of:
- Cloth abrasive layer
- Foam interface cushioning
- siafast Velcro fastening system
This gives you a long lasting, low scratch depth pad, which minimises the random deeper scratches often found when using lower quality pads.
This makes buffing out the sanding marks much easier. The foam interface layer also gives you a layer of protection, as opposed to thin paper discs.
This system is best used for damp sanding, and this pad will work perfectly on a 5" DA backing pad. We recommend lightly moistening the pad prior to and during use.

I had heard good things about SIA sanding pads, build quality is good with nice layer of foam and seems to stick well to Velcro, however I found that the sanding pads did not really last long at all before losing their grit, and had to go back to hand sanding with paper for heavier grained sanding. Maybe it was me in that i cut these down into multiple pads to fit a 1" DA polisher for sanding touch up repairs.. will have to try something like 3M to compare. These certainly seem like good value for money if they lasted longer
