The CARPRO GofX Kit is a complete glass cleaning and restoration system designed to tackle the kinds of contamination that standard glass cleaners can't touch. It includes everything you need in one box: 150ml of CARPRO GofX, a dedicated BUFF applicator, a glass polishing pad, and a premium terry microfiber towel.
At its core is GofX, a specialised glass polish that combines micro-abrasives and chemical cleaners to deeply cleanse exterior glass surfaces. Unlike a regular spray-on glass cleaner, which only removes loose dirt and smudges, GofX is designed to eliminate the bonded contamination that builds up over time, things like oily traffic film, baked-on bug residue, hard water spots, and old sealant or coating layers.
These contaminants affect more than just how your glass looks. They reduce clarity, create hazy reflections, and stop water from behaving properly on the surface. If you’ve ever struggled with streaky wiper performance, poor visibility during rain, or trouble getting glass coatings to bond, contamination is usually the reason. Directions:
- Clean or wash the glass first.
- Apply 2–3 pea-sized drops of GofX to a microfiber applicator or polishing pad.
- Work in a small section (around 40 x 40cm) using overlapping circular motions.
- Continue polishing until the surface feels slick and the residue no longer repels.
- Wipe off with a clean damp microfiber towel.
- Inspect for uniform wetting (hydrophilic surface) and repeat if needed.
- Move to the next section.
- Finish with a wipe-down using CARPRO Eraser before applying any glass coating or sealant.
