The CarPro Cool Pad is an innovative hybrid cutting pad that has a revolutionary cooling system, making it incredibly safe to use.

CarPro has brought forth new pad technology for Random Orbital, Forced Rotation, and Rotary machines. They have integrated both lambswool and microfiber technology into one pad, allowing for a great level of defect removal, with a great finish.

This pad also features a new air-cooling structure, acting as a breathing layer. The new layer aids in thermoregulation, and pressure management which results in a decrease of polishing temperature (up to 35%), and providing a better finish. The flexible layer also allows for defect removal on curved, and uneven surfaces.

Due to this, the CoolPad is great to use on sensitive areas, such as plastic-coated or heat-sensitive areas.

    Bought the 3inch pad for

    Bought the 3inch pad for more intricate areas (haven’t tried the larger sizes so I can’t comment on them) but it works well cutting with CP ultracut and finishes to an acceptable standard on a white car.

    I would say it doesn’t quite seem to bite as hard into the paint as other cutting pads I’ve got, so does take a couple more passes on harder paints, but that may be more to do with my DA and the fact I’m working on the really tight areas that require finessing to avoid pad stall.

    Carina Detailing

    Simply awesome results when matched to the right machine/compound combination. I use a Mielle which generates enormous torque that can test the best of pads and their ability to hang on to a backing plate. This pad hangs on car after car. No doubt, used correctly, its the most effective pad out there.

    The coolwool pad can be

    The coolwool pad can be a bit aggressive, i tried it with Carpro clear cut , juice medium cut and Menzerna heavy cut on a 21mm orbital and also radial polishers , deffinatly try it but have a back up plan to remove the swirls from the coolwool pad..

    Big ones good so far

    Big ones good so far but one of the 3 inch pads serrated from the Velcro base while detailing a boat .
