CARPRO PERL | Interior & Exterior Dressing · 500mL$19.50 About CARPRO PERL
One water-based dressing for your trim, tyres, engine bay and interior, diluted to suit the job.
PERL is CARPRO's dressing concentrate and one of the most versatile bottles we sell. It brings colour back to faded plastics and trim as a trim restorer, freshens up your dash and door trims, adds a subtle tyre shine and protects engine bay plastics. Same bottle every time. You just change the dilution.
It's water-based with no solvents, and uses a resin system with UV inhibitors to help stop treated surfaces fading and drying out. Once it's dry it repels water, dirt and grime, so trim stays cleaner for longer, and one application can last up to 3 months depending on the surface and conditions.
The finish is a clean satin, not a greasy shine. Use it neat on tyres for a richer, darker look, or dilute it down for the interior, where you want things looking fresh without feeling slippery. It's safe on interior and exterior plastics, rubber, vinyl and finished leather.
For the best results, start clean. On leather and interior trim, CARPRO Inside lifts the grime first so PERL goes on evenly and brings the colour back properly. Keep a CARPRO Dilute spray bottle mixed at each strength you use, spread it inside with a soft microfibre applicator, and use a tyre applicator on the tyres to keep the finish even and off your wheels. That's a small kit that looks after most of the car.
If you only want one dressing in the kit, make it PERL.
Directions
Dilutions
- Exterior plastics and trim: 1:1 to 1:3
- Interior vinyl, dash and finished leather: 1:5
- Tyres and rubber: neat for a deeper finish, or 1:1 for satin
- Engine bay plastics: 1:1 to 1:3
Treat these as starting points and adjust for the finish you want.
How to use
- Clean the surface so it's free of dirt, oil and dust.
- Mix PERL with water in a spray bottle and shake well.
- Spray onto an applicator or the surface and spread a thin, even layer.
- Wipe away any excess with a clean microfibre towel.
- For tyres, apply a second thin coat after at least 20 minutes.
- Let it dry fully before driving.

One Bottle, Every Surface
Faded trim, tyres, engine bay plastics, the dash and finished leather. PERL handles all of it, you just change the dilution to suit the job.

Satin, Not Greasy
Leaves a clean satin finish that looks fresh, not shiny or slippery. Neat on tyres gives you a deeper, darker look when you want it.

Lasts Up to 3 Months
UV inhibitors help stop trim fading and drying out, and the dried finish repels water and grime so surfaces stay cleaner for longer.

Common questions
Is PERL right for my car?
If you want one dressing that covers your trim, tyres, engine bay and interior, yes. It suits faded black plastics just as well as a dash that needs freshening up, and it works on new and older cars alike. Pick your dilution for the surface and you're set.
What surfaces can I use PERL on?
It's made for plastic, rubber, vinyl and finished leather, inside and out. That covers exterior trim, tyres, door and window seals, engine bay plastics, dashboards, door trims and leather seats. Clean the surface first so it's free of dirt, oil and dust, and PERL will bond and finish evenly.
How do I get a darker finish on my tyres?
Use PERL neat, or at 1:1 for more of a satin look. Apply a thin coat with a tyre applicator, wait at least 20 minutes, then add a second thin coat. Let it dry fully before you drive so it doesn't sling onto your paint.
How long does PERL last?
Up to 3 months, depending on the surface and conditions. Exterior trim and tyres that cop the weather and regular washing will need topping up sooner than an interior dash. When the finish starts to look dull again, clean the surface and reapply.
