Koch Chemie TEX is a specialised stain remover designed to target one of the most frustrating forms of contamination: ink. Unlike general all purpose car cleaners, this product goes after fresh ballpoint and ink stains with a blend of high-grade solvents and detergents that dissolve pigment and lift it from leather, fabric, and textiles.
It works fast, disperses the stain without smearing, and does so without the use of harsh halogenated hydrocarbons. The formula is highly effective but still sensitive enough for proper detailing use. You’ll also get a subtle orange fragrance instead of the usual chemical sting.
This is a product you use with care. A small amount goes a long way, and it should always be tested before use on delicate or unknown surfaces. It's not suitable for artificial leather or plastics. But when you’ve got fresh ink in places it shouldn’t be, TEX gives you a fighting chance to remove it cleanly, safely, and without overdoing it.

Directions:
- Test on an inconspicuous area first for colour fastness and material compatibility. Not suitable for artificial leather or plastics.
- Apply TEX to a clean microfiber towel or applicator
- Gently dab (do not rub) the stained area to loosen pigment
- Pat with a dry, clean towel to absorb the dissolved ink
- Repeat as needed for heavier stains
- Once complete, clean the whole area with Koch Chemie Pol Star, or condition with Koch Chemie Leather Star if working on leather
