The HDO CCS Pad Range From Lake Country
Conventional foam pads absorb polish too quickly. This reduces polish and pad performance because most of the polish is trapped below the working surface of the pad. CCS technology™ solves this common problem using strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells.
CCS technology is now available on Lake Country's Heavy Duty Orbital (HDO) pads, giving the detailer the added benefit of the durable, dual-layer design and tapered edge. The dual-layer design reduces lateral and horizontal movement, reducing friction inside the pad. This increases durability by eliminating excessive heat and reducing foam fatigue.
The Orange foam in the HDO CCS range is perfect for polishing and finishing on almost all paints. It's a great one-step pad that can be used for light compounding as well as polishing, leaving a flawless finish. It works brilliantly on soft paints and breaks down compounds much better than traditional intermediate foams.

HDO vs SDO
Lake Country are always innovating and pushing the limits of pad technology, and their HDO and SDO lines are no different. So what's the difference?
HDO pads use a dual-layer construction designed for increased performance on long throw dual action polishers. SDO pads use the same engineered foams without the dual-layer construction, and suit all random orbital, forced rotation and mini polishers with a centre-vented backing plate.
SDO pads are slightly thinner than HDO pads, and as a result offer a lower price point.
