The ShineMate Pad Series has the enthusiast and professional detailer at heart. The ShineMate spot polishing range takes care of the finer details with pads to suit 1", 2" and 3" backing plates. The pads are a combination of wool, foam and microfiber, varying in correcting and finessing abilities.
The ShineMate spot polishing pads are the perfect fit for your mini polisher, whether you are using a corded or cordless machine.
The microfiber pad is a versatile corrective pad that cuts and finishes extremely well depending on the compound choice. It suits mini polishers such as the ShineMate EB210, EB230k or EP803k. For larger panels, browse our full range of microfiber pads.
The spot polishing range
- Wool Pad: The ShineMate wool pad is for aggressive cutting. The short nap of the wool fibres allows corrective effectiveness on both rotary and DA machines.
- Microfiber Pad: A versatile corrective pad that cuts and finishes extremely well depending on the compound choice.
- Green Foam: A heavier, firm foam that can remove heavy defects. Compounding with this pad will need refining.
- Blue Foam: A light cutting pad that removes moderate to heavy defects and works well when coupled with a cutting or 'one step' compound.
- Orange Foam: A great all round polishing pad, great for finishing on harder European paints and one stepping on softer paints.
- Red Foam: An ultra soft finishing pad, great for removing minor haze or swirling. Great for jewelling and bringing up the gloss in the paintwork.
