About Tecomec Ceramic 1/4" QC 40° White Pressure Washer Nozzle

Durable ceramic tip pressure nozzles designed to withstand the test of frequent use and time.

The Tecomec ceramic nozzle range offers greater quality and durability than non-ceramic tip nozzles. Designed and made entirely in Italy, these are a high quality no compromise option for your pressure washing needs.

Ceramic tip nozzles provide a much more wear resistant option than standard steel or brass nozzles. The ceramic build can withstand abrasive high pressure water and detergents for longer. This means the nozzle orifice doesn’t wear down and widen as quickly as non ceramic options, giving you a more consistent spray pattern and pressure over time.

Tecomec ceramic nozzles are also more resistant to most acids and alkalis, making them a great long term option when using Venturi attachments and a better choice for hot water pressure washer systems.

The Tecomec ceramic nozzles are available in 40°, 25° & 15° options, or all three together in the Tecomec nozzle set. Browse the full Tecomec range or all pressure washer nozzles.

Orifice size explained

It can sometimes be confusing when looking at your nozzle, figuring out what everything means. We often get asked about the difference between spray angles & orifice size, and what PSI & waterflow even means.

Simply, spray angle is the degree pattern that your nozzle shoots water in. A narrower angle concentrates the water into a tighter stream, while a wider angle spreads it out over a larger area. Spray angle is not connected to your orifice size and doesn’t change the physical hole inside the nozzle - it just changes how that water is distributed onto the surface.

This little hole in the middle of your nozzle is the orifice, and by controlling the size of this hole, you can change your water flow and pressure. If you make the hole bigger, more water will be able to come out, and will reduce your pressure as there is less resistance - alternatively making that hole smaller will create a tighter space, reducing the amount of water that can get through BUT increases the pressure.

Some may think - well I just want to max my waterflow, so I'll chuck the largest orifice! But if your pressure washer doesn’t have much power, that could reduce the PSI drastically and even though more water is coming out, your overall cleaning has reduced due to the pressure. We’ve tried to make it super easy for you, by creating a recommended orifice size chart. Simply find your machine’s flow rate down the side, match it to your working pressure across the top, and where the two meet is your recommended orifice size for a balanced setup.

Which orifice size do I need?

Enter your pressure washer's rated pressure and flow. The right nozzle lets the machine hit its rated pressure without starving or bypassing the pump.
