About Aquatouch ACE

ACE is the cloth for the wipe that has to be perfect. Pearl weave, 320 GSM, edgeless. The tight uniform surface has more bite than a plush towel, so it lifts coating residue, wax or sealant cleanly without smearing, while staying soft enough for paint.

We use it mainly as a coating removal cloth. Levelling a ceramic coating needs a cloth that does not lint, does not drag and does not leave streaks, and you go through a lot of them because you should bin each one after a panel. That is why the 24 pack exists. It is just as good for quick detailers, waxes, sealants and interior cleaners.

If you want a plusher all rounder, Aquatouch GENERAL. If you want two piles in one cloth, Aquatouch VERSO. ACE is the precision one.

Care
  • Wash warm, 30 to 40 °C. No hot washes or hot dryers.
  • Liquid detergent only. Powder leaves residue.
  • No softener or dryer sheets. They coat the fibres.
  • Wash separately. Microfibre grabs lint.
  • Air dry or tumble low. Never bleach.

Coating cloths: once a cloth has levelled a ceramic coating, throw it out. The cured coating will not wash out.

Microfibre myths
  • Korean made is not a guarantee. Korea pioneered it. The best mills now run the same looms and chemistry wherever they are.
  • 100% split is not the full story. It says every filament was processed, not how evenly. We control the split to keep structure and bite.
  • Higher GSM is not better. Lighter cloths clean faster. Weight should match the job.
  • 70/30 done properly. Most 70/30s are so soft they smear. Low denier yarn and a controlled split keep the cleaning edge.

    Excellent for coating/wax removal

    I’ve been struggling to find an appropriate microfibre cloth to use for ceramic coating removal that doesn’t lint and is cost effective/value for money.

    But with the Aquatouch ACE, it think I’ve found the ideal solution.

    No lint whatsoever and great value if you bug in bulk.

    Leaves a little light fluff which is visible on black paint but is easily removed with another cloth.
