About CARPRO TarX

Tar, bug guts and old sticker glue laugh at shampoo. TarX is a citrus solvent that penetrates them, lifts them and lets you wipe them away with barely any effort. It is tinted, so you can see exactly where it has landed, no overexposure, no missed spots.

Use it on tar behind the wheel arches, badge and decal glue, baked on bugs on the bumper and headlights, or greasy suspension and engine parts. Safe on paint, trim, plastics, metal, glass and coatings when used as directed.

It belongs at the start of a detail, before the wash. Get the stuck on stuff off first and your mitt, foam and polish can do fine work instead of brute force. Find the rest of the bug and tar removers here.

Directions
  1. Shake well.
  2. Spray directly onto the tar, glue or bugs.
  3. Wait briefly for it to react. Never let it dry.
  4. Lightly agitate with a microfibre or soft brush if needed.
  5. Wipe or rinse off thoroughly.
  6. Follow with a full wash.

  • Test in a hidden spot first.
  • Not on hot panels or in direct sun.
  • Gloves, eye protection, ventilated area. Avoid the vapour.
  • Keep away from children. Store sealed and out of heat.

    Finally something that works!

    Tar is a big issue in my area and I've tried a few "Tar Removers" that seemingly did nothing but this product works no problem. I'll be buying it in bulk next order
