The MSG28 Kit transforms your pressure washer setup with Italian made precision, full brass durability and a short gun/lance combo that just feels right in the hand.
The MTM MSG28 Gun & Lance Upgrade Kit is a serious step up from your stock setup, made in Italy with premium brass internals and designed from the ground up to make washing more efficient, more comfortable and far more durable.
At the heart of the kit is the SG28 short trigger gun, a compact and ergonomic unit rated up to 4,060 PSI and 160°C, giving you plenty of overhead for both domestic and pro level pressure washers. Unlike OEM short guns that feel clunky and exhaust your wrist fast, the SG28’s angled grip, easy hold trigger and lightweight construction mean you can wash longer with less fatigue.
This kit also includes a 15° bent stainless lance, helping you get into lower sills, wheel arches, or rooflines without awkward body angles. That small curve up front makes a huge difference in comfort, while the solid stainless build handles constant real world abuse.
Every connection is threaded, sealed and built to last with 3/8” threading on the inlet, and 1/4” QC on the outlet. It’s the perfect starting point for a foam cannon setup or to upgrade into a modular quick connect system.

Assembly Directions
- Ensure your pressure washer hose has a G3/8” female end, this connects to the rear thread of the SG28 gun.
- If using quick-connects, insert your 1/4” male plug from accessories (e.g. foam cannon or lance) into the front of the SG28’s built-in quick-connect coupler.
- Attach the included bent lance by simply inserting it into the quick connect coupler at the front of the gun until it clicks into place.
- Always check for leaks and ensure fittings are tightened securely before operation.

What pressure washers is this compatible with?
As long as your pressure washer hose ends in a 3/8” female QC fitting, you’re good to go. That covers most aftermarket or pro level hoses. If you’re running a Karcher, Gerni, Bosch or other consumer unit, you’ll likely need an adapter and we stock a full range of Pressure Washer Fittings & Adaptors to make it work.
Can I use this with a foam cannon?
Absolutely. The SG28 includes a built in 1/4” quick connect coupler at the front so your foam cannon plugs straight in. It’s a more stable, secure fit than the wobbly bayonet setups most stock systems use. Just make sure your cannon is fitted with a 1/4” QC plug and you're ready to go.

Finally went for the upgrade to my Karcher washer. The lance was top much of a handful but this is just easy to use. Way more effective than the heavy lance which is too big to hold and use for a longer duration. This is must have if you want to upgrade your existing pressure washer
