CARPRO PolyShave Clay Bar Block$19.95 About CARPRO PolyShave Clay Bar Block
The CARPRO PolyShave Clay Bar Block is a reusable alternative to traditional clay. Designed for fast, safe removal of bonded contamination from paintwork.
The CARPRO PolyShave Clay Bar Block offers a smarter way to handle paint decontamination. Built with a durable polymer resin, this tool delivers the same results as a traditional car clay bar, but with better longevity, easier handling and zero waste if dropped. It removes common surface contamination like brake dust, overspray, tar, tree sap and industrial fallout all without breaking down like standard clay.
Unlike traditional clay bars, which become unusable when dropped or overly saturated, the PolyShave Block can simply be rinsed off and used again. That means no more throwing away expensive clay after a mishap. It’s compact, easy to grip, and designed to cover panels quickly with minimal fatigue, making it a time-saver for both detailers and DIY users.
For best results, always pair it with a quality clay bar lubricant to minimise friction and reduce the chance of micro-marring. If you’re prepping for polishing or applying protection, the PolyShave Block helps ensure a clean surface that’s ready for correction or coating.

Purchased this to replace my clay bar. Used it on half the bonnet and after two passes could still feel roughness in paint. Tried Meguiars clay bar on rest of the bonnet and as always, worked a treat. Should have purchased clay bars rather than this as wont be using it again.

Works quite well, although not as effective as traditional clay.

Really easy to use far more comfortable than using clay. I'd go do far as to say a must for any amatur detailer.
