The New SDO CCS Pad Range From Lake Country
Conventional foam pads absorb polish too quickly. This reduces polish and pad performance because most of the polish is trapped below the working surface of the pad. CCS technology™ solves this common problem using strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells. Now available on our Standard Duty Orbital (SDO) pads, giving the operator the same consistent performance of our SDO pads, with the added benefit of CCS technology.
The CCS (Collapsed Cell Structure) range from Lake Country use a unique and trademarked design to provide better control of the pad on the surface, allowing the product to work longer and preventing pad skipping. By utilizing high quality foams you get the the best finish every time.
The orange polishing pad is more of an intermediate pad offering a medium level of cut, with a great finish. It is comprised of a medium density foam that allows for the removal of light-moderate paint defects on all paint systems. It is a very versatile pad, and can be used in a variety of different applications.
The Orange SDO CCS Pad is a perfect intermediate pad for any enthusiast or professional that is looking for a cost effective solution, without compromising on quality. -

So what's the difference between SDO and HDO?
Lake Country are always innovating and pushing the limits of pad technology, this is no different with there new HDO and SDO CCS line of pads, so what's the difference?
Essentially, HDO pads are designed to have increased performance with long throw Dual Action polishers, while SDO Pads are more designed towards forced rotation, rotary or other Non-long throw dual action polishers.
SDO pads are slightly thinner than HDO pads, as a result SDO offers a lower price point and an alternative for users of forced rotation polishers.
