About MIRCH Kraken

Kraken is protection you apply with your foam cannon. Wash the car, foam Kraken on, let it sit for a minute, rinse. No towels, no levelling, no buffing. What is left is a thin SiO₂ layer across paint, glass and trim that beads tight and sheets fast.

It is built on the same silica chemistry as the MIRCH coatings but reworked for foam. The foam carries modified siloxanes that cross link as the water flashes off, dropping surface energy and giving you contact angles you would normally only see from a spray coating or a proper ceramic.

Use it as standalone protection every few washes or as a top up over an existing coating. Safe on every exterior surface. Weeks to months of beading, depending on how the car lives.

Why it works

  • Touchless. Foam, dwell, rinse. Nothing to wipe.
  • Real SiO₂. Ceramic style beading, not a gloss wash.
  • Coating friendly. Tops up a ceramic without interfering.
  • Fast. Adds two minutes to a wash.
Directions
  1. Wash and rinse the car fully.
  2. Add Kraken to the foam cannon at 1:10, for example 100 mL in 1 L of water.
  3. Foam every exterior surface while the car is still wet.
  4. Dwell 30 seconds to 1 minute. Do not let it dry.
  5. Rinse thoroughly, bottom up then top down.
  6. Dry as normal with a drying towel or blower.

Not in direct sun or on hot panels. Best after a full wash or decon so it bonds cleanly.

Kraken or BOOSTv2?

Both are spray sealants with a few months of durability. Kraken goes on through a foam cannon with no wiping, so pick it if you have a cannon. NV BOOSTv2 is spray and wipe, so pick it if you do not, or if you want to top up between washes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mirch KRAKEN is a super unique product applied with your foam cannon, It’s really taken this space by storm. Snow foam infused with protection at this level of performance are pretty rare, so its normal to raise some eyebrows and look to ask some questions. Below we have outlined a few common FAQ’s to hopefully help answer any query you may have. If we didn’t address your question however, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do I have to use a foam cannon to apply Kraken?
We definitely recommend using Kraken with a Foam Cannon with a Pressure Washer - or at the very least a foam cannon with a garden hose. It’s how the product was made, specifically formulated to be used in this type of environment. If you are looking for something different, say a spray and rinse product - then MIRCH have something very similar in Hydra.
Can I apply Kraken to my windscreen?
Some windscreens & wipers have worked fine, others have caused some gripping. Overall this product hasn’t been completely formulated to work with the wipers, so we tend to steer clear of this area but we use it on everything else.
How long does Kraken typically last?
Usually, it lasts around 2-3 months - but because of how easy it is to use and top up, we usually re-apply every month or so to ensure it’s working in tip top shape and that layering over time boosts performance & durability.
Can I use Kraken over my existing protection? E.g. my ceramic coating?
Absolutely, Kraken works beautifully over any type of wax, sealant, coating or spray. And due to it’s high level of performance, you can be confident it’s not going to “mask” the performance of your expensive protection, but boost it and enhance it - supplying glass like gloss, and incredible water beading & self cleaning properties.

    Easy to use and works wonders

    Probably one of the best protection foaming washes I've ever used.

    I've been using it in my MTM foam cannon that I also got from Waxit and it's so easy to add protection to my Clio. I'm not spending 30 minutes wiping on a product, I'm just foaming and rinsing. EPIC product!
