The ShineMate T130 is a high-cut, high-nap wool cutting pad designed for fast correction - with control, coverage and compound versatility.
The ShineMate T130 Wool Pad is a high-performance heavy cutting pad built for rapid defect removal across both rotary and dual action machines. Its long-fibre nap increases the contact surface area, improving cut efficiency while helping maintain pad control and a stable working feel.
Designed to handle severe defects, oxidation, and sanding marks (up to 1500 grit), this cutting pad delivers fast results without sacrificing finish quality, especially on medium to hard clear coats. The centre hole helps control heat build-up across longer sets, extending pad life and improving thermal stability during use.
It’s a versatile wool cutting pad that responds well to pressure, speed, and compound changes, and can even finish down on some OEM systems when paired with the right polish.
Features
- High-Nap Wool Fibre: Expanded surface contact allows faster defect removal while keeping pad stable.
- Severe Cut Capability: Removes up to 1500 grit sanding marks with proper compound and technique.
- Rotary & DA Compatible: Performs equally well on both platforms, offering strong control and balance.
- Centre Hole Ventilation: Reduces core heat, keeping pad temp stable and extending usable life.

Good quality cutting pads work well to remove heavy defects do leave some light micro scratches but there easily removed with a medium cutting pad

- AAmienVerified BuyerRated 5 out of 5 stars2 years agoShinemates version of the Rupes Yellow Medium Wool Pad
Seem to be a clone of the Rupes Yellow Wool pads but at a fraction of the cost. Shinemate mentioned all their pads can be used for Rotary and DA but these seem more a DA pad.
