The CARPRO Denim Orange Peel Cutting Pad is built for serious texture correction without sanding. It delivers the cut of sandpaper with none of the dust or dulling.
Designed to tackle heavy orange peel and deep defects, the CARPRO Denim Pad gives you the cutting action of traditional sanding methods - but in a polishing pad form. That means faster work, less mess, and no sanding haze to chase out afterwards.
It’s aggressive, no doubt. But when used correctly, this pad lets you flatten high spots in the clear coat and correct deeper issues without grinding down the gloss. It’s most effective on rotary machines but can be used on other polishers with extreme care.
If you're after that truly flat, mirror-gloss finish - and want to skip the extra steps of wet sanding - this cutting pad is a direct route.
Note: These pads are quite aggressive and can be deceiving. DO NOT use pressure and check the temperature of the paint frequently. The use of a paint gauge is highly recommended. Only use this pad when the orange peel is in the clear coat, not the colour coat.

Directions
- Attach to a hook and loop backing plate on a rotary polisher for best results.
- Prime pad with CARPRO ClearCut or another cutting compound.
- Apply a few drops to paint or pad accordingly.
- Work a 50x50cm section.
- Begin working polish on low speed for a pass or so. Step up speed to approx. 1200 rpm (adjust as needed).
- Apply more polish if needed or a spray of water on pad to re-activate lubricants.
- When satisfied with orange peel and defect removal, slow down, ending at 600 rpm as you finish down the polish.
- Refine finish with a foam pad or microfiber pad and polish.

The Carpro Denim pads are a 'must have item' in the range of pads pro's need to attend to the issue of slightly excessive orange peel in repainted panels. As most car manufacturers 'dial in' a certain level of orange peel into their OEM finishes, more and more car owners with repaired vehicles are aware of this and checking it on repaired sections. Wet sanding has traditionally been the solution by panel shops but it can be fiercely aggressive and before you know it, the paint is completely flat and in no way matching the OEM. Owner complains and then back into the oven at massive expense. The denim pads 'gently' reduce the orange peel to a level that lines up with the OEM. Finally the use of these pads should only be entrusted to someone with considerable buffing experience. 2; watch the heat they generate as it is substantial. Brilliant innovation in my opinion
