Available in either flat or diamond pad configurations, each set includes a full range of yellow cutting pads, blue intermediate pads, and red finishing pads - ready to slot straight into your workflow.
Built to handle a range of compounds and polishers, these pads strike a solid balance between cost-effectiveness and performance. The diamond variants feature a patterned foam surface for better heat regulation and flexibility, while the flats maximise surface contact and correction speed. Both hold up well with compounds from Scholl, Nv, Koch Chemie and more, delivering consistency and durability through every stage of the process.

What size pad am I looking for?
ShineMate pads are tapered — so the face is slightly larger than the backing plate they're designed for. Here's the breakdown:
- 4" pads fit a 3" backing plate
- 6" pads fit a 5" backing plate
- 7" pads fit a 6" backing plate
Make sure you're matching the pad size to your backing plate, not just the face diameter.
Flats Vs Diamonds - What's the difference?
Flat pads offer full face contact for faster correction and even pressure across the surface — ideal for when you're chasing speed and cut.
Diamond pads feature recessed foam channels that help regulate heat during longer polishing cycles. This makes them more durable and forgiving, especially during heavy use or on soft paint.
Are these pads compatible with all machines?
These pads are made for ShineMate DA polishers but work well on most dual-action machines with hook-and-loop backing plates. Just match the plate size correctly and you're good to go.
They’re not suitable for rotary polishers — the foam density and design are optimised for DA motion only.
How do I clean and maintain the pads?
After use, rinse the pad under warm running water and massage the foam to release product build-up. Use a pad cleaner if needed.
Let the pads air dry completely before storing — and avoid high heat or direct sunlight, which can damage the foam.
